TenderTrail by Sherpa:
Freight Forwarder Pricing Software

TenderTrail is a rate management and pricing engine built for freight forwarders by operators who have run pricing at scale.

TenderTrail puts every charge, your cost, your margin and your sell in one place, so you know exactly what you’re quoting. No more losing the week to Excel.

What TenderTrail does

Freight forwarder pricing software built the way a pricing desk works

Rate management

Carrier contracts and rate sheets live in one place. Ports and cities get cleaned up to one standard, and the original rate sheet is always there if you need to go back to it.

Every lane priced charge by charge

You see your cost and your margin on every line. The customer never does.

One engine for RFP, spot

The same rates, charges and rules price a 60-lane tender or a spot quote sales needs back by this afternoon.

The customer's template back, filled in

Their format and their columns, with notes on what each price includes.

Every round and every bid kept

Round two doesn't start from scratch, and neither does next year's renewal. You know what you bid, what you won and where you lost.

Analytics

Analytics at the trade lane, carrier, RFP and organizational level, for pricing and procurement. It was designed by people who spent a career reporting this data to management at the largest freight companies.

The first pilot: FCL into the US

We're starting with one trade and getting it right: full container load ocean freight into the United States. Door delivery and global lanes come next, then air and LCL.

Designed by operators

I'm Gareth Dobbs, and I designed TenderTrail. I built and ran a global pricing team and spent more than a decade managing RFQs at the largest scale. I've sat on both sides of the table, and I know where the hours go on a pricing desk.

Sherpa Supply Chain Advisory is an advisory firm run by operators. We are not a tech company. TenderTrail  is built by an expert IT consultant so it holds up in daily use, and it's being tested by best-in-class operators who price freight for a living.

Your data stays yours. Every forwarder gets its own workspace, and nothing is shared between them.
